Each font in the Helvetica family consists of individual families making the spectrum extremely wide. The original Helvetica font became popular in the 1960′s when foundries began to use it in formal, corporate messages. As the font became more popular, the weights, heights and widths of the strokes were altered to create derivations to serve different purposes. Amongst these derivations is Helvetica LT Std which employs very light strokes. The reduced width and weight give the font a unique appeal that makes it favorable for various designing jobs. Hi Eric, I’ve downloaded this font and I’ve included it in a commercial project but I don’t understand which type of usage I am covered for. Helvetica Neue Lt Std is sold on this website but I’ve found it also in free websites (as your site for exemple). So, is it a licensed font or a free font? I’ve searched for the specific license but I can’t find this font on official Adobe site (as Typekit). I would like to not infringe any license by using this font in commercial projects.
Thank you in advance, Anna.
